Our incubator will help high-GROWTH startups secure a capital investment + the dream team to grow with.

Business support for high growth startups in the UK was severely hit in April 2026, following changes from government to reduce funding support for programmes by 91%. Focus will predominantly be on scaleup ventures for those that do gain support, which will leave a significant gap of support for startups with high growth potential. The pipeline of the next generation of scaleups will be reduced, simply because they haven't got the funding or business support to thrive.

Turnkey's incubator can be the difference these ventures need.

Launching our own incubator will allows up to 50 ventures at a time to take part in a 16-week programme where the strongest 10% will receive an invite to join our Venture Portfolio at the end with an enhanced proposition of ‘Sweat + Cheque’.

We still believe that a high-growth startup benefits from a talented team wrapped around them, but adding capital alongside it provides the ultimate solution to grow fast and will allow Turnkey to support high quality ventures who need some capital to power their early stage initiatives. By running two incubators a year we will add up to 10 ventures a year into our portfolio.

Applicants will undergo a rigorous evaluation focusing on growth potential, founding team, and fit for the Turnkey Portfolio. Our team will handpick ventures that show promise for high growth potential and impact.

Our expert team

Turnkey Team's will be created on a bespoke basis for each venture that is accepted into our Ventures Portfolio. Experts will be sourced using our same methodology that have filled teams in our existing ventures, bringing together top-tier experts who are all exited founders, leaders of scaleup businesses, or exited corporate board members. Their knowledge, expertise, lessons learnt and networks from their backgrounds will accelerate venture growth, whilst they will ensure the capital investment is used wisely for the best impact.

Our team will continue to grow, bringing in new experts that fit the requirements of the 'Dream Team' for each specific venture that joins our Portfolio. If we don’t have a world-class expert already that we need for a venture, we’ll find them!

Application criteria

Over 16 weeks we will really get to know all of the ventures on the incubator, as well as the ability for them to get to know the Turnkey Team. Working closely with founders through a series of workshops, 1:1 mentoring, group sessions, and scored assessments, the picture starts to build the standout business opportunities with talented people who are most investible.

Our incubator programme will focus on identifying the ventures with most growth potential in the key areas for scaling, culminating in a final showcase to an investor panel to decide which ventures to back and which ones will fall short. With a cheque for up to £250k + a Turnkey Team of the same value at stake, competition will be high.
